Landshut is the capital of Lower Bavaria and also one of the main tourist destinations in the region so there is a good variety of accommodation in and around the town.
Much of it is located near the historic centre or on the banks of the Isar river.
The hotels chosen are from the four-star through to three-star superior categories and some of them have online booking facilities through our travel fulfilment partner Booking.com. You can check availability at those particular hotels by clicking on the button under the hotel.
If you know when you are planning to go but haven't decided on accommodation, then use the map below to get an idea of which properties are available and to compare prices during the period you wish to travel.
Enter your proposed dates and use the '+' to zoom in on a location and reveal more properties. Click on the price above a property to see more information.
(Please note that this selection will also include some guesthouses, pensions and self-catering apartments for those who are interested in that form of accommodation!)
Landshut is only a short rail or road journey from Munich Airport so the choice of flights and the proximity make this the most logical airport to use for flights if staying in the town.
Distance to Munich Airport: 39km
Distance to Salzburg Airport: 131km
An alternative option if, for some reason, Munich cannot offer the desired connections might be Salzburg Airport to the south and just over the Austrian border.
Landshut's train station is located to the north of the old town, a good 30 minutes walk from the centre. Local buses run frequently between the two locations. The town is a stop on the regional train routes heading for Nuremberg and for Passau, while nearby Munich offers local and international connections, as well as regular regional services to Würzburg, Bayreuth and Frankfurt am Main.
