The exhibition is being held at Ettal Abbey, the stunning religious centre built in the Alps which is already a popular stop for visitors.

It was founded by one of the rulers of Bavaria and the legacy of another ruler, the famous Ludwig II, is not far away in the shape of Linderhof Castle in the Graswang valley.
