German Sights

Ulm, Germany

Ulm is one of the major cities in Baden-W├╝rttemberg and famous, amongst other things, for its spectacular minster right in the centre.

Originally it was an important port on the Danube - German-speaking emigrants set off here to head downstream to settle areas of Eastern Europe.

More historical details about the city can be found on our Ulm information page: Ulm Information

There is a fair range of hotel accommodation both in Ulm and just over the river in Neu-Ulm. Listings and information about travel to the city can be found on our Ulm travel page: Ulm Hotels & Travel

There is plenty to see and do in the city, in addition to the exhausting - but worthwhile - climb up the interior of the minster spire. Some of the main attractions are featured in our photo gallery along with short descriptions of each image: Ulm Images
